Nyköping High School is the largest upper secondary school in Nyköping. We have eleven national programs - six of which are vocational programs, four different introductory programs, and adapted school. JOB DESCRIPTION

The position is located at Nyköping High School, where you will primarily teach students in the Gripen unit in the introductory programs. You will belong to a team with fantastic colleagues who will welcome you, and together you will develop learning environments, approaches, and teaching that enhance students' learning and social development.

The position includes teaching in the natural sciences and possibly another subject at the primary and/or upper secondary level. A large part of your work involves supporting students who have difficulties in the subject and helping them achieve the goals for upper secondary eligibility.

Our operations are characterized by a positive attitude, and we have a strong belief in the students' competencies.

As a teacher, you are responsible for the pedagogical work within the subjects you teach. The position requires you to have clear leadership with engagement and warmth that challenges and supports students so that they achieve good study results. You work based on the school's curricula and translate the goals into meaningful learning for the students. You use digital tools in the work with pedagogical documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, you need to have good knowledge of the subjects you teach and hold a teaching license. It is advantageous if you have experience in pedagogical work and have previously worked with upper secondary students.

You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the curriculum goals into your work. You are a present and collaborative educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you.
