With us, you will be part of a municipal special education group for students in grades 7-9 at Hedebyskolan in Vagnhärad.

WHAT DOES YOUR ASSIGNMENT INVOLVE?

You who are applying share our view that learning and social skills are best developed in interaction with others. You will be a support and link to social relationships for our students, and we have a clear focus on inclusion and the equal value of all people.

As a resource educator, you will support students' development and learning in school. You will provide individual support in pedagogical work and social interaction. Together with other colleagues, you will be responsible for content and efforts to promote each child's development and learning. Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

We place great importance on your ability to collaborate with all colleagues at the school. Educators work closely together throughout the student's entire school day with us. It is important that you contribute your experience, knowledge, and creative abilities in various ways for the development of students and the organization.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You who are applying are/have:

• social pedagogical education
• knowledge of and experience with autism and language disorders
• be a secure and stable adult who can understand and guide students through schoolwork and social interactions
• knowledge and experience of various digital tools and learning platforms

We want you to be able to use your experiences and competencies to contribute to an exciting, stimulating educational environment where the student is the focus. We expect a professional approach towards students and parents in various forums.

You have a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach, always with the student's best interests in mind. To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and easily understand other people's perspectives. You need to be secure in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization. You have a good understanding of how children absorb knowledge and the different conditions for learning.
