Do you want to contribute to order, structure, and secure handling of our patient record archive? We at Psychiatry Southern Stockholm are now looking for an Archive Assistant.

About the organization

Psychiatry Southern Stockholm is in an exciting phase of development. In 2025, the operation was expanded with 7,500 new patients and three new outpatient clinics.

From 2026, our organization will consist of 9 inpatient wards with a total of 150 beds, 12 outpatient clinics, and an intensive outpatient care team.

Your role as an Archive Assistant

We are now looking for a meticulous and independent Archive Assistant who wants to play an important role in preparing our patient record archive for final delivery to the Stockholm Regional Archive. Here you will have the opportunity to work methodically, take responsibility, and contribute to ensuring correct and secure handling of patient information.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, independent, and has a good ability to work systematically.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in archival work or administrative work, preferably within the public sector, is an asset
• Good understanding of order and confidentiality requirements related to patient records
• Ability to work independently, structured, and meticulously
• Good computer skills

The position is a specific fixed-term employment until 2026-12-31, with the possibility of extension. Start date according to agreement.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO):

• A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's general instruction for register checks at employment.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
• In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
