It is an exciting transformation, and we need more resources to deliver this – so if you are a forward-looking Senior Cloud Architect who breathes cloud-native, infrastructure-as-code, and AI-driven automation, this is your chance to work with the very best in the industry.

Senior Cloud Architect is a key role within the Cloud Advisory and Engineering team, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services on Azure. This role is responsible for ensuring reliability, scalability, and security for cloud-based solutions, including components for compute, storage, networking, and security. You will work within Iver's Cloud Advisory and Engineering Team to develop our managed platform services for Azure and support customer onboarding. You will also handle incidents related to Azure resources at a Level 3 capacity, perform root cause analysis, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure in Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM.
• Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery using tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Implement and manage containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or AKS.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Work closely with security teams to ensure best practices in cloud security, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps principles and ensure the infrastructure is tailored to the application's needs.
• Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends and continuously improve our infrastructure setup.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for you who are a driven Azure enthusiast interested in working as an advisory specialist consultant. Our mission is to provide expert advice and solutions for our customers on their technical journey. We expect you to lead yourself and the customer with great curiosity to new creative solutions and methods, and you have a strong interest in the ongoing cloud technological development. To succeed in the role with us, we believe you are a good communicator with the ability to make complex IT simple, you understand the importance of working together to achieve goals, and you have good business acumen.

Furthermore, we believe you have:

• 3-5+ years of experience or equivalent in implementation and deployment within the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Cloud solutions such as IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless.
• Experience with automation tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Development or scripting experience.
• Knowledge and experience in network topologies and firewalls.
• Knowledge and experience in security practices for infrastructure, application, IAM, or various platform solutions.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft tools (Power BI, Intune, Entra ID, AVD) and platforms such as AWS, GCP.
• For this role, fluency in both Swedish and English is required.

Location: Iver is present in 25 locations in the Nordics. For this role, we expect you to be based at one of our offices in Stockholm, Malmö, Gothenburg, or Oslo.
