JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a qualified music teacher responsible for the school's music education in grades 4-6, based on the music curriculum and the general curriculum goals. You will be responsible for regularly monitoring students' development in the subject and documenting this in our systems. It is important that you collaborate with the school's staff on student health issues and report incidents. The supervision assignment involves supporting students in transitions between subjects, during breaks, and lunch. You will actively contribute to our joint conferences. You will also have special responsibility for certain traditions at the school, such as Lucia and graduations.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a relational leader in the classroom who can both guide and support students as well as set clear boundaries when needed. Your classroom is characterized by a calm study environment, and you ensure that your teaching is qualitative and follows the curriculum. You have knowledge of how you may need to adapt your teaching so that all students can participate, whether they have difficulties or need challenges. You are keen to integrate a language and knowledge-developing approach in your teaching in a way that also benefits students with Swedish as a second language. If you do not yet master all aspects, you are interested in learning more to develop in the role of a successful teacher. You have an unpretentious and solution-focused approach. For you, it is natural to share the school's values regarding discrimination and harassment.
