Description
We are now looking for an engaged and subject-interested mathematics teacher for grades 7–9 at Sandbergska School. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating mathematics instruction for secondary school students, as well as contributing to a safe learning environment that promotes students' motivation and learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and conducting mathematics lessons based on the curriculum goals and the school's governing documents.
Adapting instruction to meet students' varying conditions and needs, including special support and assessment for learning.
Following up and documenting students' development and communicating continuously with guardians and colleagues.
Collaborating in work teams, participating in meetings, development work, and the school's systematic quality work.
Creating and maintaining a clear classroom environment focused on safety, study peace, and good routines.
Using digital tools to support instruction and documentation.
Qualifications
Teacher's degree with qualifications to teach mathematics for grades 7–9 or equivalent education and experience.
Teaching license.
Good ability to plan, instruct, and assess according to applicable governing documents.
Experience teaching secondary school students in mathematics is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as the ability to communicate with students and guardians.

Structured and confident in classroom leadership.
Flexible and collaborative with a willingness to contribute to the school's development work.
Interest in using varied and inclusive teaching methods to create motivation and knowledge development.

Additional information
The position starts by agreement. Employment is in accordance with applicable collective agreements. For final employment, a criminal record extract from the police is required according to the requirements of the Education Act.
