About the organization

Administrative Unit 2 Surgery East provides administrative services to both Surgery Sahlgrenska and Surgery East. We are located on both hospital campuses and operate in our own professional line. Administrative Unit 2 Surgery East works for close collaboration between the hospital campuses and supports each other as needed. We strive for patient-safe and qualitative administration. For us, development and good collaboration are important, and we want to provide our patients with the best possible care, which requires good and smooth communication channels between different professional categories.

We are now looking for a system administrator for ELVIS based at Sahlgrenska Hospital

As a system administrator, you are organizationally part of the administrative unit and are located in the surgeon's administrative corridor at Sahlgrenska. We continuously work on improvement efforts regarding patient safety and workshifting, and we focus on a good working environment.

What can we offer you as a candidate?

With us, you will have a developing and rewarding job where the patient is in focus. The role of system administrator is varied with several areas of responsibility and a lot of independent work. You will work daytime from Monday to Friday, we have flexible hours, and there is some opportunity to adjust working hours to suit you.

What do the tasks look like?

As a system administrator for ELVIS, you are the organization's contact person regarding the system, you communicate news, answer questions, and train new users. You extract statistics for the organization related to production, ensure that registrations in the system are correct, and participate in development projects and the implementation of new systems related to ELVIS. You also have an overarching responsibility for diagnosis registration within the organization.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary. We prefer that you are used to working with various IT tools and have extensive experience with ELVIS. Familiarity with producing statistics and experience in diagnosis coding is an advantage. You should enjoy having many tasks going on simultaneously and working independently. Since the position involves daily contact with many people, we expect you to have good collaboration skills, be used to taking your own initiatives, and be able to organize your work independently. You are meticulous and have a good demeanor.

You have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, good IT knowledge, and an interest in diagnosis coding. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
