Description

The Financial Support Unit is a workplace consisting of social workers, investigation assistants, administrators, senior social workers, and a unit manager.

Responsibilities

The work involves case management with investigative work, authority exercise, and administrative tasks:

  • Receive and process inquiries about estate notifications.
  • Investigate whether there are assets in the estate.
  • Investigate financial assistance for burial costs.
  • Be responsible for provisional management of the estate's assets and burial if heirs are missing.
  • Handle and distribute own funds.
  • Some other administrative assignments; including being a backup for various administrative tasks within Individual and Family Care, such as working in our reception.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant education for the role; administrative and/or behavioral science.
  • Good digital competence and experience working in various administrative systems.
  • Good understanding of legal and financial aspects to be applied in the handling of mediation and estates.
  • Very good ability to express yourself well and nuanced in speech and writing.
  • Driver's license (B).

It is important that you have a clear user focus and the ability to create good meetings with our users. Qualities and abilities that are significant for the work are responsibility, quality awareness, independence, flexibility, clarity, and empathy. The position requires that you have a very good ability to prioritize and to collaborate internally and externally.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

  • Estate management or similar activities.
  • Experience in authority exercise and are confident in making independent decisions.
