About the Position

The Øresund Bridge is a unique workplace that contributes to integration in the region. The delivery department is responsible for handling all our customers before, during, and after their journey, and our motto is to provide a fast, safe, and smooth passage 24 hours a day. As a customer assistant, you are our face to the public and offer an outstanding customer experience in an active environment where no two days are alike. You meet commuters on their way to work across the strait, eager tourists from many European countries, customers heading for a relaxing weekend, and business clients. The workplace is open every day of the year, and work can be done both remotely from a workstation and outdoors.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers at the payment station with information and payment
• Directing traffic and managing situations that may arise in daily operations
• Providing outstanding service to commuters, tourists, and other customers

The position of customer assistant is a consulting assignment as needed via Adecco. You are expected to work at least 16 hours per week alongside your studies or other main occupation, as well as full-time during the summer period.

NOTE - the start date for this position is either March 18 or April 8 and begins with an introductory day, which you need to be able to attend on one of these occasions. Following that, 5 training sessions are planned in the following weeks to give you the right conditions for the job.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a team player and enjoys working in a team, but who also feels comfortable working independently. You take responsibility within given frameworks and use your judgment to create good customer experiences. You find it easy to adapt to new systems, have good computer skills, and have the ability to make the customer feel heard.

Since the Øresund Bridge is open around the clock, working days are Monday to Sunday, and working hours are scheduled in three shifts: day, afternoon, and night shifts. It is important for applicants to keep in mind that one cannot always rely on public transport for transportation to the workplace during inconvenient working hours.

Important for the position:

• You are currently studying at least 50% or have another main occupation
• You have at least three semesters left in your studies
• You can work approximately 2 days (16 hours) per week and are also available for full-time work during summer and Christmas
• Good understanding of both Swedish, Danish, and English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the service industry
• Fluent Danish or other languages
• Driving license (B)
