Are you an analytical and structured procurement specialist looking to make a difference in a dynamic manufacturing company? At Posti, we are seeking a driven purchaser who can ensure smooth and cost-effective material flows for our client, an innovative company in the manufacturing sector.

Your Role

As a purchaser, you will be the hub of the supply chain, responsible for ensuring materials are available at the right time, quality, and quantity – always with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). You will drive both operational and strategic procurement issues, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to optimize processes and ensure smooth flows.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Order and follow up on materials based on requirements in the ERP system
• Ensure deliveries match planned timing, quality, and quantity
• Maintain accurate master data and planning parameters
• Communicate daily with suppliers regarding deliveries and forecasts
• Handle complaints and quality deviations
• Optimize inventory levels to minimize shortages and overstock
• Participate in supplier negotiations and contract discussions
• Analyze supplier performance and suggest improvements
• Collaborate with production, planning, and other departments when needs change

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with solid experience in procurement within the manufacturing industry, capable of combining technical understanding with business acumen and analytical strength.

Your Profile

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in procurement, logistics, supply chain, or equivalent experience
• At least 4 years of experience in operational or strategic procurement within manufacturing
• Good technical understanding – preferably experience with electronics, mechanics, plastics, castings, or components
• Proficient ERP user
• Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented
• Stress-resistant and solution-oriented
• Structured and analytical with an eye for detail
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
• Team player with a modest attitude
