JOB DESCRIPTION

Your role includes planning, leading, and following up on teaching in Special Sports orienteering, both practically and theoretically. You will mentor students and be responsible for conversations and individual development plans (IUP).

You contribute by:

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in orienteering.
• Conducting student conversations and establishing individual development plans.
• Being a mentor and supporting students' development.

• Sharing knowledge and developing teaching together.
• Supporting each other in daily work.
• Working towards common goals for the benefit of the students.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, good collaboration skills, an open and solution-focused approach, and a commitment that contributes to a safe and motivating learning environment are important. The work involves supporting young athletes' development both physically and mentally and collaborating closely with colleagues.

The following is required for the role:

• Experience in leading orienteering training at an elite level for youth and juniors or other specialized competence in physical or mental training.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

If you are a qualified upper secondary school teacher and have a coaching qualification, this is preferred, but other education may also be considered.
