Description

We are looking for a certified teacher for teaching as a class teacher in grades F-3 at Järvsö School.

Responsibilities

Teaching as a class teacher in grades F-3. Mentorship is included in the position. Your responsibilities include planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching, both individually and together with others. You are responsible for documenting students' knowledge development. You will be part of a work team where you participate in follow-up and analysis of results.

Qualifications

Teacher's degree with qualification to teach in grades 1-3.

You should have good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to develop the operations and see opportunities.

You should be both project-oriented and results-oriented, able to work independently, take your own initiatives, but also be part of collegial learning and context. You are flexible with good pedagogical insight.

Järvsö School has about 400 students from preschool to grade 9. Our facilities are centrally located in Järvsö where grades 4-9 have their premises, and in Nybo, about 5 km from the central location, where preschool to grade 3 have their premises. The school also houses the Järvsö library and adjacent to the school is the youth center.

Within walking distance, there is a center and Öjeberget with an alpine facility and mountain bike park, illuminated trails for cross-country skiing, an ice rink, a golf course, a pump track for cycling, and the wildlife park Vildriket with the predator center The Big 5.
