Tranmursskolan GKS is a free school with a Christian orientation, welcoming students from various nationalities and backgrounds. The school has approximately 60 students from preschool to grade 9, and we teach in small classes in B-form.

For the autumn term of 2026, we are looking for someone who can teach Swedish, history, and social studies in grades 7-9. You are clear in your leadership role and have a positive view of students, assuming that they can and want to learn. You see collaboration as a necessity. You have a broad view of knowledge with a focus on the future.

In your work, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching both individually and in collaboration with work teams and other colleagues at the school. An important part of the job is to systematically follow students' knowledge development according to current routines for study plans, individual development plans, and written assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher in Swedish, history, and social studies for grades 7-9. You have the ability to motivate and create engagement while being a clear leader. You are confident in yourself, and through your way of leading and organizing, you create a safe and educational classroom situation. We are convinced that order, structure, and clarity combined with attentiveness and care bring out the best in our students. A good judgment and high integrity are important as we want you to be a positive adult role model for the students. We also see that you are communicative and have the ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues, students, guardians, and other stakeholders around the student. Your pedagogical strength lies in your ability to adapt teaching based on results, evaluations, and the individual student's needs. To achieve this, you need to have a good understanding of how different people absorb information and knowledge, as well as the ability to adapt your teaching style at both group and individual levels.

Qualifications:

● Teaching certification in the subjects and grades mentioned above.

● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

● Creativity and an eye for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

● Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in accordance with the school's governing documents, both individually and in work teams.
