Business Developer for the Care and Social Services Office

The main mission of the Care and Social Services Office is to provide good care and social services to the residents of Norrköping Municipality. Within the framework of the office's operations, special housing, home care, home health care, authority exercise, and the municipality's food services are included. With our approximately 3000 employees, we are the municipality's second largest office. Together, we create a meaningful and safe everyday life for all who need our help.
We are now looking for
Several business developers to be placed in the development unit, which is a strategically important support function that supports all operations of the Care and Social Services Office. The unit is responsible for the office's development portfolio and drives development initiatives that strengthen working methods, governance, and capabilities throughout the organization.
Your tasks
As a business developer, you have a varied role where you work with the entire Care and Social Services Office to create the best possible conditions for professional care of our users.
You support the operations by analyzing needs, developing working methods, and creating clear structures for quality and development work. The role also involves translating strategies into practically implementable working methods.
You work on building, implementing, managing, and continuously improving structure, tools, and methods in the work with the quality management system, to ensure that good and consistent quality is achieved and maintained within all operations of the Care and Social Services Office. You will drive various types of projects and improvement work within the framework of care and social services.
Looking ahead, we see that more digital systems will be needed in the operations where you play an important role in initiating, driving, and implementing various projects related to system support. You support colleagues and managers in the work with the management system and coordinate the build-up on the intranet.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a university degree in behavioral science, social science, computer science, or another direction that the employer deems relevant for the position. We consider it an advantage if you have some form of education in project management.
In this recruitment process, we are looking for several business developers and are interested in those who have both longer and shorter experience in project management, with insight into the various parts of project work. Knowledge of project systems and tools, as well as timelines, risk analysis, and action plans is advantageous. To succeed in the role, we see that you are curious and interested in delving into new areas and that you have experience with and appreciate change and development processes.
We would like you to have experience working in a politically governed organization, but this is not a requirement.
As a person, you are pedagogical and clear and can adapt your communication based on the target group. You have the ability to inspire trust and create engagement in others so that they can see the benefits and purpose of what needs to be done. Furthermore, you are flexible and can quickly change your approach and working methods when needed.
You take into account the broader perspective in various issues and ensure the best interests of the operations in actions and decisions. You are driven, take initiative, plan, and initiate activities that you ensure reach the jointly set goals.
The municipality strives to keep documentation and information in an easy-to-read and easy-to-understand manner, which means it is important that you can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
