About the position

Our client is a local bank with a strong foothold in its primary region, where they currently hold a market share of nearly 50%. As an independent bank, all important decisions are made locally, for the benefit of our customers and our local community. With a solid foundation and a larger bank backing them, they are a financially secure partner for their customers. They are now taking a strategic and exciting step by establishing themselves in Norrköping, a completely new market for them, with the goal of expanding beyond their primary area.

In this key role as a Business Advisor, you will have a unique mission: to establish the bank as a credible and local bank in Norrköping. With central Norrköping as your base at the office hub DoSpace, you will have full responsibility for prospecting and building a completely new customer portfolio within the corporate segment. This is a restart where your combination of analytical ability and prospecting drive will be crucial. You will be the bank's face in Norrköping and have the opportunity to directly influence the bank's expansion and long-term success.

Job responsibilities

As a business advisor, you will be the key person in building and developing new business relationships with corporate clients in Norrköping. The work includes everything from prospecting and client meetings to analysis, credit preparation, and active customer care. You will be both a salesperson and an analyst, with a strong focus on creating sustainable business.

  • Build and develop your own customer portfolio through structured prospecting.
  • Conduct client meetings, needs analysis, and present relevant financing solutions.
  • Drive business processes, including credit preparation and quote generation.
  • Ensure high quality in customer relationships and actively work with customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal functions to deliver comprehensive solutions to corporate clients.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a post-secondary education in economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Has experience in business advisory, B2B sales, or another commercial role, preferably within banking or financial services.
  • Has previous success in proactive prospecting and new customer acquisition.
  • Has a good understanding of corporate financing, credit processes, and risk assessment, as well as the ability to make qualified financial assessments.
  • Has a strong self-drive and the ability to work independently and in a structured manner in a startup environment.
  • Is relationship-building with high communication skills.
  • Has very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as it is required in internal and external dialogue.
  • Has good knowledge of English in speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have

  • An existing network within the corporate segment in Norrköping.
  • Experience in driving a new market area or business segment.
