About Motala Animal Clinic

We are the small clinic with the big heart, offering high-quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, and small animals. We also perform horse vaccinations.

The clinic is equipped with X-ray, a laboratory, an operating room, a dental department, examination rooms, and a shop selling feed and more. Our team currently consists of 12 people with various competencies and areas of expertise.

Our opening hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 08:00–17:00, and Tuesday and Thursday 08:00–19:00. We are closed on weekends and public holidays.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a cheerful, wonderful, and positive person who can take full responsibility for our reception and shop at the clinic, providing world-class service to our customers. You will be our face to the outside world, both on the phone and when customers visit us. We expect you to be trustworthy, calm, and confident with a cool head and a twinkle in your eye. You must also be able to adapt to varying paces and possess the ability to prioritize the right tasks at the right time.

Main duties:

Welcome our customers and patients. Answer the phone, book appointments, respond to emails and questions on our social media. Manage ordering for feed and products sold in the shop, maintain inventory and keep the premises tidy. Be responsible for laundry. Assist with simple animal-related tasks such as holding animals for colleagues, cleaning examination rooms, etc.

Qualifications:

• Cheerful, positive, and solution-oriented
• Fast and efficient with the ability to adapt to varying work paces
• Organized with a cool head and a twinkle in your eye
• Easy to collaborate with
• Enjoy helping customers and meeting people of all ages and moods
• Basic knowledge of our most common small animals (primarily dogs/cats)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good computer skills
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

We consider the following as extra merits:

• Previous experience in veterinary care
• Qualified animal caretaker
• Previous experience in retail or another industry with high customer contact
• Experience with ordering responsibilities
