For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now seeking a Technical Information Specialist for an assignment at their site in Finspång.

Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs.

Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-looking environment with many development opportunities.

This is initially a 6-month consulting assignment via Unik Resurs with a very good possibility of extension.

We apply continuous selection, which means the assignment may be filled earlier than the final application date.

Tasks and Areas of Responsibility

Do you want to work in a role where you can combine technology, structure, and communication? We are now looking for a Technical Information Specialist who wants to help develop how we work with technical information.

About the Role

In the role of Technical Information Specialist, you will work to create, structure, and develop technical information together with specialists in various technical areas. You play an important role in ensuring that the information is clear, correct, and easy to use.

Among other things, you will:

• Participate in projects where more departments implement an information-based working method in our CCMS
• Convert and structure information from Microsoft Word to XML-based systems
• Work with modular (topic-based) writing and information reuse
• Collaborate with technical specialists to understand and structure complex information
• Drive the work of developing new instructions and information products – from idea to finished solution

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is curious, structured, and enjoys a role where you can combine technology with communication.

We expect you to have:

• Post-secondary education, for example in technical information, IT, or systems science
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience working in Microsoft Word
• Experience with CCMS and topic-based authoring

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Knowledge of DITA, XML, or PLM
• Experience with standards for product information, for example the Machinery Directive
• Understanding of databases or information structures
