Do you have a strong interest in labor law and collective agreements and want to help develop our work with strategic resource planning?
We are now looking for a Contract Specialist with a focus on labor law and collective agreements to complement our negotiation team with specific expertise in strategic staffing work. You will be part of our HR organization and will work together with various competencies within HR. We are currently in a development phase where we are reviewing and further developing our collective agreements – a task where you will play an important role.

Responsibilities
As a Contract Specialist with us, you will provide expert support to managers, leadership, and HR colleagues on issues related to agreements and labor law. You will have a particular focus on strategic resource planning and work proactively to link the Swedish Maritime Administration's goals to personnel planning. This involves ensuring the right competence in the right place, at the right time, while optimizing personnel costs and promoting employee well-being through sustainable schedules. You will contribute to a shift from administrative scheduling to strategic resource planning, but also support managers with schedule planning based on applicable collective agreements.
As a Contract Specialist with us, you will handle advice on the interpretation and application of agreements, drive and participate in negotiations, develop and conduct training, create and update documentation and work materials, and work with analysis and development of collective agreements. An important part of your role will be to support managers in change processes to achieve sustainable personnel economics and operations.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in development work and personnel planning.

It is required that you have:

  • an academic degree in either human resources or another education combined with experience that we consider equivalent
  • several years of relevant experience working with collective agreements
  • experience in scheduling in complex operations as well as very good knowledge of working time legislation and collective agreements
  • extensive experience in independently driving and conducting negotiations
  • good computer skills
  • the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is advantageous if you have experience from:

  • working with agreements in shipping and/or operational 24/7 activities
  • simulating and calculating the effects of various agreement proposals
  • working with e.g. TimeCare, Heroma, Personec, Medvind, Visma, etc.

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities, where we see that you have a solution-focused approach and a good ability to create relationships and collaboration. You are analytical, structured, and have the ability to balance the needs of the business with sustainable scheduling. You are confident in yourself, your knowledge, and in dialogue with managers and can pedagogically explain and motivate new solutions. You have the ability to adapt to changes and find it easy to prioritize as assignments vary in nature.

How and when?
This recruitment concerns a permanent position expected to be filled as soon as possible.

Interviews will begin via Skype in weeks 17-18.

The Swedish Maritime Administration may apply a six-month probationary period.
The position may involve military placement at the Swedish Maritime Administration.

The position may require Swedish citizenship. A security check with a background check may be conducted before an employment offer.
