Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic (RPR) in Vadstena

RPR is a highly specialized operation with a complex and socially important mission. The clinic has county-wide, regional, and national assignments and is responsible for inpatient care of mentally disturbed offenders and for involuntary care of mentally ill patients from the criminal justice system, detention centers, and psychiatric units. RPR provides highly specialized forensic psychiatric inpatient care with staff who have a broad competence profile. Many of RPR's efforts are carried out in collaboration with other healthcare and community actors, such as courts, correctional services, police, municipalities, and healthcare neighbors within the regions. RPR has over 200 employees and currently 90 inpatient care places. Within the clinic, there are seven care units, outpatient care, employment, investigation, and administration.

Job Description

We offer you a position with varied tasks. The medical administrators assist with service and support to all care departments, other staff, and external contacts. Healthcare documentation is, of course, part of the job. Other tasks include handling and monitoring court cases, being responsible for the clinic's incoming switchboard number, record-keeping, ordering supplies, purchasing, booking conferences, venues, and business trips. The position involves responsible and developmental work where you have the opportunity to utilize your competence, your interest in involuntary care legislation, and development opportunities within the administrative area.

As a medical administrator with us at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic in Vadstena, you will be an important part of the administrative support in an operation with high demands for security, quality, and structure.

About You

You are a trained medical administrator/medical secretary or equivalent. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You have a good ability to document and are accustomed to working in medical record systems. Experience in psychiatric documentation and involuntary care legislation is meritorious, as is experience with Cosmic, IT support, and telephony.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and used to handling multiple tasks simultaneously. You enjoy working independently while also being a team player. Your demeanor is professional and service-oriented. You communicate clearly in both speech and writing. You have high integrity and understand the importance of confidentiality. You thrive in an environment with clear routines, high security requirements, and an important social mission.

The temporary position lasts for 6 months with the possibility of extension if the operation has a need. Start date is as agreed but preferably as soon as possible.
