Junior Analyst in Cyber Threats

Your Mission
As a junior analyst in cyber threats, you will be part of a unit at the Cybersecurity Office. Together, we monitor and identify the actors behind the attacks. We build knowledge about their methods and motives, which serves as a basis for decisions on critical issues.
Your main responsibilities as a junior analyst will include:
- Analyzing attacks and other phenomena in the cyber domain
- Building knowledge about the most qualified threat actors
- Reporting intelligence both in writing and verbally

You Can
We are looking for someone who has:
- Knowledge and interest in working within cybersecurity and analyzing cyber attacks
- Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
We consider it an advantage if you have knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Post-secondary technical/IT or other equivalent education
- Basic programming skills – for example, writing simple programs in Python or other programming languages
- Experience in threat actor mapping or similar work
- Knowledge of foreign and security policy
- Knowledge and/or experience working in Windows and Linux environments
- Interest in CTFs or other technical challenges, such as malware, IT forensics, or network traffic

More Information
The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will undergo a security screening in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment includes an obligation to be placed in wartime.
