Your Role

At Saab, we are growing and investing for the future. To the project office for the development unit within Ground Combat, we are looking for a secure, curious, and unpretentious project manager who wants to create structure, pace, and direction in complex development projects that often involve collaborations both within and outside Sweden's borders.

As a project manager, you lead the work from idea to delivery, prioritize and achieve results through clear goals, planning, and follow-up, as well as time, risk, and resource management. In close collaboration across functions - development, production, purchasing, quality, testing, and after-sales - you coordinate the work, communicate the status transparently, and make well-considered decisions with teams and stakeholders.

The location is Karlskoga or Karlstad by agreement.

Your Profile

You are solution-oriented, communicative, and confident in taking responsibility. You thrive in change, switch between the big picture and details, and build structures that hold. You have a degree from a university or college in engineering or equivalent work experience, and have previously worked in leading projects or development initiatives in a technical or industrial environment, for example as a project manager, product manager, or technical leader.

You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are proactive, social, and flexible. You create focus and drive the work forward while not hesitating to contribute where needed. We place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
