Your Role

We are in an expansive phase with increased volumes and new investments. At the same time, we are driving a long-term development of our production through digitization, automation, and smarter working methods. Here, you will be part of building the production environment of the future, not just managing it.

In the role of production engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that production has the right conditions, from developing methods and tools to producing clear and quality-assured production documentation. You work closely with several different functions within the organization and contribute to translating design into stable, efficient, and repeatable production.

In this role, we value initiative, improvement drive, and technical engagement. You will have great trust to perform your tasks independently and the opportunity to influence both technical choices and working methods.

Examples of tasks:

• Develop and optimize production methods and flows
• Prepare new and existing products for production
• Drive improvement work within process, quality, and efficiency
• Ensure robust and quality-assured production documentation
• Participate in the industrialization and introduction of new products

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a technical educational background, such as a YH-trained production engineer, engineering degree, or equivalent. You preferably have experience or interest in areas such as automation, robotics, production development, or industrial efficiency.

You have a genuine technical interest and thrive in a role where you can combine structure with problem-solving. Working cross-functionally and closely with others is a natural part of your daily life, and you contribute with both drive and responsibility in your tasks.

As a person, you are structured and methodical, but also solution-oriented and proactive. You dare to question existing working methods when necessary and have the perseverance to drive improvements all the way to completion. For us, your personal qualities are an important part of the overall assessment in this recruitment.

For the position, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We also see it as desirable that you have a B driver's license.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
