Senior Supplier Quality Manager – consulting assignment in the defense industry Have you been working on quality issues for many years and know what it takes to make collaboration with suppliers really work – for real? Then this assignment is for you.

We are now looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) for a consulting assignment with our client in the defense industry – an organization in strong growth, where you will work with advanced technology, engaged colleagues, and suppliers who want to be best in class.

About the assignment As SQM, you will be a key person in the chain between purchasing, quality, and production. Your task is to ensure that every delivered component meets the standards – both technically and qualitatively. You will play a central role in driving improvements, developing suppliers, and creating long-term sustainable relationships.

You will, among other things:

Ensure that purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures are followed Quality assure articles, materials, and subsystems Conduct audits at suppliers – both in Sweden and around Europe Follow up on quality performance and drive improvement work when something does not meet the standards Handle complaints and deviations in close dialogue with production Support colleagues, share experiences, and contribute to a strong team Here you will have a role where technical knowledge meets human collaboration – and where your ideas actually make a difference.

Requirements profile To succeed in this assignment, we believe you have a sharp eye for detail, a methodical approach, and a good dose of curiosity. You enjoy being out at suppliers as much as in the office, and you like to see concrete results from your work.

We are looking for someone who has:

At least 8 years of experience in supplier quality or quality development Solid knowledge in classical quality work and tools such as LEAN, Six Sigma, PPAP, and MSA Good understanding of reading drawings, geometric tolerances, and measurement techniques University degree or equivalent experience Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written A collaborative personality – you enjoy sharing and developing others Additional information Scope: Full-time Location: Karlskoga (on-site initially, some possibility for remote work later) Start: As soon as possible Assignment period: June 30, 2026, to Open with the possibility of extension Security clearance: Swedish citizenship is required. The assignment can begin before the security clearance is completed. Travel: Occurs within Sweden and Europe
