Your role as a Development Engineer

As a Development Engineer, you will assist our clients and work on advanced product development, following the entire development chain – from concept and design to testing, verification, and further development of the finished product.

You will work with design and development in complex systems, analyze technical challenges, and develop solutions. The role combines theoretical problem-solving with practical work, such as creating test materials and participating in testing.

You will also contribute to product maintenance through improvement work, troubleshooting, and change management to ensure long-term functionality and quality. The role involves many interfaces and is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with others. Our clients are primarily within the defense and automotive industries.

Combitech Örebro, Karlskoga, and Karlstad

The Combitech offices in Örebro, Karlskoga, and Karlstad are in an expansion phase, and we are looking for engineers who want to help shape the section's future direction. Here, there is an opportunity to arrange everything from after-work activities and hackathons to educational projects and team-building activities. There is also room to propose and organize workshops and seminars with leading experts to deepen the team's competence.

The assignments are located within the region, and the work is carried out either at the client's site or at one of our offices.

Who are you?

We are looking for a technically driven engineer with a strong interest in product development and complex systems. You have a relevant engineering degree and enjoy working both analytically and practically throughout the entire development process.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, curious, and capable of taking responsibility while collaborating well with others. You are motivated by technical challenges and want to develop your competence in an advanced and specialized area. Experience in design, testing, or development work is advantageous, but most important is your willingness to learn and develop.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.

Since the position may involve work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
