We are now looking for a person who wants to take a key role in supplier quality, responsible for ensuring and further developing the quality of strategically important suppliers in a complex and technically advanced organization.

Here you will work closely with both strategic purchasing, the engineering organization, and external partners – and be involved where decisions are made.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As the responsible for supplier quality, you will work both operationally and strategically to develop and secure quality within assigned product groups. The role involves close dialogue with suppliers and a clear mandate to drive improvements and make quality-related decisions with direct business impact.

You will, among other things:

• Drive and develop supplier quality in areas such as mechanics, electronics, non-metallic components, and process-related areas
• Manage deviations, conduct root cause analyses, and follow up on improvement measures
• Conduct supplier audits and follow-ups
• Ensure compliance with requirements, drawings, tolerances, and quality standards
• Be an important partner to strategic purchasing in supplier selection and quality decisions
• Work in close collaboration where quality and purchasing together drive the business forward

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: 

• Have an engineering background or equivalent experience from an industrial environment
• Have experience in quality work and a good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Have the ability to work structured in a dynamic environment with many parallel activities
• Have strong communication skills and are used to working closely with both internal and external stakeholders

We are looking for someone who is calm, clear, and trustworthy in your communication. You are demanding when necessary, but at the same time diplomatic and solution-oriented. You thrive in a role where you can drive issues forward, work closely with suppliers, and create results together with others.

Experience in supplier quality (SQM/SQE), mechanics and drawing understanding, electronics or chemistry-related processes, as well as audit work or purchasing-related roles is an advantage.
