Arho AB is in a strong growth phase where more and more customers are requesting our innovative solutions in robotics and automation. We are now looking for a committed and structured project manager who wants to take overall responsibility for technical projects and help develop the industrial solutions of the future.

Do you want to work closely with technology, customers, and production while playing a key role in driving projects from idea to commissioning? Then this could be your next challenge.

About the role

As a Project Manager at Arho AB, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and following up on projects within automation, robotics, and advanced testing systems. You will ensure that projects are delivered according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements while creating structure and driving the work forward.

You will act as a natural coordinator between design, electrical, automation, production, and customer, ensuring that all parts of the project are interconnected, both technically and commercially. In this role, you will also be responsible for purchasing and ordering materials and components for the projects, ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time and maintaining ongoing control over the project's total cost picture.

You will have a trusting and continuous dialogue with the customer throughout the project's lifecycle, from planning and requirements definition to delivery and follow-up. Since you are often the primary contact with the customer, you will also have the opportunity to identify upselling, additional orders, and future business opportunities.

This is a role where technology, leadership, and business meet, and where you can truly make a difference.

Your tasks

  • Lead and drive projects from quotation and planning to delivery and commissioning

  • Establish and follow up project plans, timelines, and budgets

  • Be responsible for purchasing and ordering materials and components

  • Coordinate internal resources within mechanics, automation, and production

  • Ensure technical and qualitative delivery according to customer requirements

  • Manage risk analyses, change management, and follow-up

  • Be the main contact with the customer during the project

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is structured, confident in their role, and has a genuine technical interest. You take responsibility for your projects, make decisions when needed, and ensure that work progresses even when challenges arise.

You thrive in a role where you combine technology, leadership, and customer contact, and have the ability to create engagement in the team around you. With clear communication and a solution-oriented approach, you build trust both internally and externally. You are comfortable in dialogue with customers and preferably have a sales-oriented mindset that allows you to see opportunities where others see limitations.

You have a holistic perspective while keeping control of the details, and you are motivated by delivering projects with high quality, profitability, and satisfied customers.

We are looking for you who have

• Relevant university degree in areas such as mechanics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or similar, or equivalent experience

• Experience in project management or project work within industry or technology

• Technical understanding of mechanics, electrical, or automation

• Experience working with planning and follow-up

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious

• Experience with CAD, such as SolidWorks

• Experience in automation or robotics

• Experience from the manufacturing industry

• Experience in purchasing or material planning
