"Here you have the opportunity to combine specialist knowledge with education, consulting, and entrepreneurship – while helping to build Ditwin's presence in Karlskoga."

Ditwin is a specialist company that helps industrial companies develop their working methods within CAD, PLM, and digital product and production development. As a partner to Siemens Digital Industries Software, the company works with some of the market's leading solutions within CAD and PLM.

At the same time, Ditwin is far from a traditional consulting firm. Here, there is an entrepreneurial culture with short decision-making paths, great personal responsibility, and a strong desire to share knowledge and develop together.

Now, Ditwin is taking the next step in Karlskoga by establishing a local presence in the region.

There are already customers, business opportunities, and a clear demand for the company's expertise here. What is missing is the person who wants to help build Ditwin's local operations. As a CAD/PLM specialist, you will therefore not only become an important advisor to customers, but also a key figure in the company's continued establishment in the region.

"We are looking for someone who enjoys combining technology with people. Your technical background and competence in CAD and PLM are a prerequisite for the role, but what determines long-term success is the ability to share knowledge, build trust, and help customers develop both their working methods and their business," says Johanna Bygdeson, Consulting Manager at Ditwin.

Your future challenge

As a CAD/PLM specialist, you help customers develop their working methods within CAD, PLM, and product development related to Siemens software, including Solid Edge, NX, and Teamcenter. The role combines technical specialist competence with education, consulting, and method development, where you work closely with users, designers, and decision-makers. In some assignments, you conduct training and workshops; in others, you act as an advisor regarding processes, system support, and future working methods. You contribute specialist knowledge in CAD and PLM and help customers get the most out of both their systems and working methods.

At the same time, you get a unique opportunity to be involved from the start. You will be one of the first people in Ditwin's initiative in Karlskoga and have a great opportunity to influence how the business develops locally. There are already established customer relationships and a strong market; now it is about building further.

Examples of tasks:

  • Train, support, and guide users in CAD and PLM solutions, primarily within Solid Edge but also other Siemens environments.
  • Develop and improve working methods, methods, and processes for customers.
  • Contribute to projects in digital product development, such as Model Based Definition (MBD) and digital twins.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and identify development opportunities.
  • Be an important part of Ditwin's continued establishment and development in Karlskoga.

An opportunity to grow

At Ditwin, you have great freedom to influence your daily life and develop your competence, and there is a strong culture of knowledge sharing where colleagues support each other and experiences are shared between different assignments and specialist areas. You therefore become part of a company that believes in long-term relationships, both with customers and employees. There is room to grow, take responsibility, and develop in line with the business.

Apply for the CAD/PLM specialist position and become part of Ditwin's continued journey in Karlskoga!

Are you the one we are looking for?

To succeed in the role, being technically skilled is not enough. CAD and PLM competence is a crucial foundation, but what determines long-term success is your ability to build trust, create relationships, and help others develop. Therefore, you thrive just as well in dialogue with customers and users as in the technical environment, and are motivated by sharing your knowledge and contributing to others' success.

We therefore believe that you have a technical foundation in product development, design, or a related field, and thrive in the borderland between technology and people. Perhaps you currently work as a CAD/PLM specialist, senior designer, CAD key user, process engineer, or system administrator and have discovered that you enjoy sharing your knowledge just as much as working in the systems yourself.

As a person, you are curious, pedagogical, and relationship-building. You easily create trust and enjoy supporting others in their development. At the same time, you are self-motivated and thrive in a role where you get to take responsibility, identify needs, drive issues forward, and contribute new ideas. You are attracted by the opportunity to help build something long-term and see the value in combining specialist competence with consulting, education, and customer contact.

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • An engineering degree in mechanical engineering, preferably towards product development, design, product design, or equivalent.
  • Experience with CAD work in Solid Edge.
  • Experience with PLM-supported development processes.
  • Good understanding of product development and design processes.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).

Experience with Siemens systems, such as Teamcenter, NX, or other related solutions, is considered highly meritorious. Experience with CAD methodology, MBD, digital twins, and work in manufacturing industry is also seen as an advantage.
