We need to strengthen our team in Örebro with senior mechanical designers. We are now looking for you who want to help our customers develop products within, among other things, the mining industry, defense industry, or steel industry. You will have several nice, great colleagues working in different areas who are happy to meet on office days, for coffee, lunch, or to do something fun together after work!

Your role

As a mechanical designer at Etteplan, you work in various phases of design and technology development. You play a central role in both the development of new products and the improvement of existing solutions for our customers. Your work involves, among other things, reviewing technical specifications to ensure that different components work together, as well as producing drawings and models. In close collaboration with other engineers and project managers, you contribute to driving projects forward and achieving common goals.

Your profile

You are a person who enjoys taking on new challenges, is curious, has a positive attitude, and likes to take responsibility. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for you who want to develop as a mechanical designer. You have a B-driver's license and are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

To thrive in the role, you have:

• University or Civil Engineer education
• 7+ years of experience in design work and/or hydraulics or similar
• Knowledge of the design tools Creo, Inventor, and/or CatiaV5

Since some of our assignments are within the defense industry, the position may require a successful security clearance according to current security regulations. For roles subject to security classification, there is also a requirement for Swedish citizenship.
