Are you an engineer with an interest in machining and want to work closely with production? We are now looking for a production engineer for a long-term consulting assignment within the manufacturing industry.

About the role

This is a developing role where you will work closely with a senior production engineer with deep specialist competence. You will be gradually introduced to the work with the aim of eventually taking on greater responsibility and becoming a key person in the organization.

The role is broad and varied, focusing on improving and developing production. Examples of tasks include:

• Optimization and streamlining of production flows
• Troubleshooting and actions regarding quality deviations
• Participation in machine investments and preparation of cost calculations
• Preparation and review of drawing documentation and work with FMEA
• CE marking and safety-related issues
• Close collaboration with production, quality, design, and project management

You will have the opportunity to contribute to improvement initiatives, technology development, and future investments. The client aims to strengthen its production engineering department in the long term and is therefore looking for someone who wants to grow together with the organization.

Who are you?

We believe you have:

• Technical university education, for example in mechanical engineering
• Interest in machining and industrial production
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• An analytical and structured approach to work
• Good collaboration skills and thrive in a role with many contact points
• Swedish and English in speech and writing

You may be at the beginning of your career or have a few years of experience. The most important thing is your drive, curiosity, and willingness to develop within production technology. The assignment starts as a consulting position and then transitions to employment with the client company.
