Your Role

As a mechanical designer with us, you will be part of our Ground Combat business area, where we develop and further develop technical solutions and products for ground-based systems. You will play a central role in the entire product lifecycle - from early concepts and innovation to further development and management of existing Ground Combat products.

You will help create the technology of the future and work broadly with everything from design and 3D modeling to testing and optimization. In this role, you combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving in an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Create accurate 3D models and complete drawing documentation with high quality.
• Conduct technology studies and monitor new technology to ensure innovative and competitive solutions.
• Actively participate in workshops and technical discussions to drive the development of our ground-based systems forward.
• Plan and execute tests and verifications, including test firings, to ensure functionality, performance, and quality.
• Develop and evaluate prototypes, including using modern 3D printing.
• Improve and further develop working methods, processes, and techniques.
• Contribute technical expertise to purchasing, calculation engineers, and external suppliers.

You will work in Catia and 3DEXPERIENCE and have the opportunity to be involved in research and development projects at the forefront of technology - directly connected to our products within Ground Combat.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is driven by technology and innovation and who thrives in a role where you can take responsibility while closely collaborating with others. You are structured and meticulous, but also curious and solution-oriented. You see challenges as opportunities to develop and improve.

We believe you have:

• A university degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in design, preferably related to production technology, quality, or similar areas.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
