IKEA Örebro is now looking for new employees for our Logistics function, which we call Customer Fulfilment. We are looking for those who want to start working weekends during the spring and then work more during the summer - perfect for students.
We are looking for early risers as we start at 05:00 in the morning. You enjoy collaborating with others and find it easy to communicate with all kinds of people. Furthermore, we see that you are flexible, can easily identify what needs to be done, and are willing to take initiative. You are also meticulous, reliable, and have a positive attitude. The work involves many heavy lifts and can therefore be physically demanding, which makes it an advantage if you have good physical ability.
IKEA has a strong culture and clear values that are very important to us. Therefore, we primarily recruit based on your values and personal qualities. If you have a forklift license and experience driving reach trucks, order pickers, or counterbalance forklifts, it is a merit.
Working with us
At Customer Fulfilment, we open the loading dock at 05:00 to start unloading goods from trucks. As an employee, your task is to ensure that the products are available to our customers in a safe and efficient manner. Your tasks will vary between driving forklifts, handling incoming deliveries, unpacking products in the store, picking and delivering orders to our customers, and more - always with safety as the highest priority and with the customer in focus. All of us at IKEA Örebro are responsible for creating a fantastic experience for our customers, contributing to the entire IKEA sales. Regardless of the task, we share the same joy, energy, and goal; to exceed our customers' expectations!
About this job area
The positions we offer start in week 14 (Easter break), when you will receive an introduction to IKEA and Customer Fulfilment. After that, you will work weekends until June, and then during the summer, you will work about 20-30 hours per week. If we enjoy working together and you are interested in continuing weekend work into the fall, there are good opportunities for this.
The working hours start at 05:00, and you need to be able to get to work on your own, as no public transport is available at that time.
We offer a salary according to collective agreements, and in addition to your base salary, you will also receive extra pay for unsocial hours. For example, if you work on Saturdays after 12:00, all Sundays, and public holidays, you will receive 100% extra pay.
At IKEA, we also offer benefits in the form of employee discounts, wellness grants, and breakfast/snacks for all our employees. But the offer that IKEA primarily provides you is a workplace where there is a strong belief in you as an employee. We are a workplace where there are various ways to grow. When you grow, IKEA grows too!
Apply now!
Apply via our website www.ikea.se/jobb with your CV. You do not need to attach a personal letter, instead, you will answer a few questions. You will receive notification via email if you proceed to the next step, which is a digital interview. Also, check your spam folder as our emails sometimes end up there.
We warmly encourage and welcome applications from people with diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences because we know that diversity within IKEA makes us stronger. If you have any questions, please contact the recruiting manager David Gibb, [email protected] or recruiter Sophia Rosander, [email protected]
We warmly welcome your application! The last application date is Monday, February 16.
