Experienced Engineer for Measurement Assignments

Our business is in an expansive phase and we are looking for an experienced engineer to work with measurement assignments at our development unit in Karlskoga and Karlstad.

Your Role

Do you enjoy measuring? Do you want to help improve tomorrow's missile systems? As a measurement engineer at SAAB Dynamics, Missile Systems, you will conduct measurements during e.g. test firings or environmental tests. You will identify the measurement needs of projects and realize these in connection with the test assignments. You will identify and carry out measurement setups before the test assignments, collect data, and evaluate/analyze the results. You will also analyze data collected by external parties. The evaluation can be performed in MatLab or other equivalent evaluation systems. The measurements are partly conducted outdoors.

The position can be partially adapted to the applicant's interests, skills, and experience. For example, you may work as a systems engineer or with methodology work within testing and verification.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with some of the qualifications listed below:

• Degree in engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge in areas such as electronics, measurement technology, mechanics, or development testing
• You are an experienced and practical engineer
• You have good analytical skills
• You are methodical and meticulous
• Experience in verification and/or system testing
• You are outgoing and can express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
• You feel comfortable taking a leading/driving role
• You are used to taking your own initiatives
• You are positive and enjoy working with varied tasks both individually and in a team and are open to new challenges
• Driver's license B

The placement can be Karlstad or Karlskoga by agreement with the applicant, but daily commuting will occur as needed. Additionally, travel both nationally and internationally may occur.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
