We are looking for an experienced consultant in additive manufacturing (AM) for an assignment where you will play a key role in the development of components and working methods. You will work at the intersection of development, production, and competency building, focusing on ensuring manufacturability and the right technology choices for various applications.

In this role, you will review and analyze design documents from an AM perspective, guide in the selection of processes and materials, and contribute to establishing and spreading knowledge internally within DfAM and AM processes.

• Review and analyze design documents to ensure manufacturability with various AM technologies
• Recommend suitable AM processes and materials based on requirements and applications
• Develop business cases and cost estimates for potential AM items
• Advise on build orientation, support strategies, and post-processing to achieve the right quality and tolerances
• Act as project coordinator for specific components in collaboration with business units and internal and external production partners
• Plan and conduct internal workshops and further develop training materials within DfAM and AM processes

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, development, or production-related technology
• Documented experience in additive manufacturing (AM), preferably with a focus on metal printing
• Good understanding of CNC technology and/or casting processes
• Technical education in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience with DfAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing)
• Ability to lead and conduct workshops, training, and internal knowledge sharing
• Experience working cross-functionally as a project coordinator
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not accepted)
