Experienced Engineer for the Verification Section

Our business is in an expansive phase, and we are looking for an experienced engineer who will primarily work with system testing in our verification section within the Ground Combat development unit.

The products we primarily work with are Saab's 84mm family, NLAW, and upcoming autonomous weapon systems, including drones/UAVs.

Your Future Challenge

Primary tasks included in the position:

• Conducting verification, subsystem testing, and system testing.
• Conducting development testing, e.g., shooting tests and environmental testing.
• Test management.

The work is partly conducted outdoors.

Additionally, the following tasks may also be included:

• Opportunity for project/subproject management within our area.
• System work - verification.
• Methodology work for verification and testing.

Your Profile

We would like someone with experience in one of these areas:

• You are an experienced and practical engineer, preferably with knowledge in some of these areas: mechanics, electronics, measurement technology, or development testing.

Master's degree, bachelor's degree, or technical diploma with experience is valued equally!

To succeed in this position, you must:

• Be accustomed to taking initiative.
• Be comfortable in a leading/driving role.
• Be outgoing and able to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
• Have good analytical skills.
• Be able to work in a structured manner and be meticulous.
• Enjoy working with varied tasks both individually and in a team.

If you have experience in test management and/or project management, it is an advantage.

The job may involve travel both nationally and internationally. Your workplace and office are located in Karlskoga.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
