Job Description

Our automation team in Örebro consists of technology enthusiasts working in various roles related to industry, electricity, and automation. We work with some of AFRY's largest clients, either under AFRY's management or directly within our clients' operations. Our clients are primarily in the manufacturing and defense industries, where we contribute specialist knowledge to their projects and deliveries.  

In the role of Senior Electrical Designer, you will work on design tasks including control cabinets, upgrades of existing control systems, and the new construction of entirely new systems. You will also work with commissioning, system descriptions, and/or project management in electrical engineering depending on your interests and experience. With us, you will work on a broad portfolio of projects across various industries such as nuclear power, water treatment, and manufacturing. The role of Electrical Designer with us is both broad and varied, allowing you to adapt the role to your experiences and ambitions. 

Qualifications

You also enjoy sharing knowledge and lessons with others, acting as a mentor or expert. You have: 

Requirements

  • Relevant technical education, in the form of a high school diploma, bachelor's degree, or master's degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical design for industrial projects and good knowledge of relevant systems such as: AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, Elmaster, E3, or ElproCAD.  
  • Knowledge in sizing equipment for projects within 400 - 1000V
  • Valid driver's license (B) as travel is included in the position.  
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. 

Meritorious

  • Design knowledge in vehicle-based electrical design
