Your Team
In the role of Production Engineer, you will belong to the Surface Division. This is the division at Epiroc that develops, manufactures, and markets equipment for rock and exploration drilling. The machines are used worldwide in various applications within road and water construction, geotechnical construction, quarries, and mines.
The team you will be part of is a production engineering group of 35 people where roles such as Preparation Engineer, Production Engineer, Industrialization Engineer, and Project Manager work closely together. The group constantly works with strategic planning and development of assembly methods, work instructions, quality assurance, productivity increases, and streamlining.
Your Mission
In the role of Production Engineer, you will work together with a group whose clear focus will be continuous improvements, short lead and build times, as well as improvements in product quality and delivery reliability. This, along with excellent service and support, is seen as the key to increased customer satisfaction.
Your main tasks as a production engineer involve actively participating in the production development process by continuously working for improvements in work methods and methodologies to increase productivity and reduce product costs. You will work cross-functionally to meet the production's interests in various forums and meetings.
Your tasks include establishing assembly sequences, assembly instructions, and checklists, as well as being responsible for the development of assembly aids, e.g., fixtures and torque tools. You will also perform and participate in the analysis of trial assemblies and establish testing and control methods in the flows.

This position is located in Norra Bro, Örebro.

Your Profile
We are looking for candidates who are university-educated or have documented experience in production engineering work and knowledge of LEAN methodology within the manufacturing or assembly industry. Your passion for production engineering issues and your determination to achieve complete results are crucial qualities for this role.
In this position, communication will be in both Swedish and English, so it is important that you have excellent skills in both spoken and written language for both languages. You should also enjoy solving complex problems and be ready to support the business in the best way possible. Building and maintaining relationships is an important part of the job, and we are looking for a person who enjoys managing many different contact points.
Other necessary qualities include the ability to organize your work effectively and to collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve desired results.
