As a material controller, you are the crucial link between suppliers and production. You are responsible for a defined assortment and ensure that the material flow works smoothly, from ordering and receiving to being available on the production floor. By following up on deliveries and analyzing discrepancies, you ensure that materials and components are delivered on time, with the right quality, and contribute to continuous improvements in the logistics chain both internally and externally.

However, the role is about more than coordination – you are also a change driver. With digital tools such as Power BI and Power Automate, you streamline processes, challenge established ways of working, and identify new opportunities for improvement. At the same time, you strengthen the team and actively contribute to its development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role of material controller means that you are operationally responsible for managing material flows, handling supplier relationships, and ensuring effective material supply to production. You will work with both strategic improvements and daily operational challenges.

• Ensure material availability for production
• Engage in dialogue with suppliers regarding material deliveries and discrepancies
• Identify and drive improvement initiatives within material management
• Handle and resolve operational challenges related to material flows

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a couple of years of experience in material management or a similar logistics role, preferably within the industry
• Has good knowledge of SAP
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English as both languages are used daily in the work

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with Power Automate/Power BI
• Knowledge of Lean principles or similar efficiency and improvement methods
