Electrical Technician at Infranord

Infranord has been awarded the contract to perform basic maintenance of the railway facility Västra Stambanan, Hallsberg-Laxå and Hallsberg marshalling yard starting from September 1, 2026. We are now looking for an Electrical Technician. Placement in Hallsberg.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Electrical Technician, you will be part of a team working with the operation and maintenance of overhead lines, switch heating, lighting, and power supply to signaling systems. We work with continuous improvements and hope you want to help us develop based on your experience and ideas.

Our assignment sometimes requires us to be quickly on-site, which means we primarily seek someone who lives in Hallsberg or is willing to relocate here.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for someone with a high school education from the electrical and energy program
• Work experience as an electrician/electrical technician.
• The position requires you to have a B driver's license and meet medical requirements to be approved for safety service.
• Experience in railway maintenance

Meritorious:

• Post-secondary education in railway technology
• Competence as a connection leader for overhead lines
• Authorization to operate track vehicles
• C driver's license
• Authorization from the Electrical Safety Authority
