We are now looking for a mechatronics engineer for Saab Dynamics based in Karlskoga or Karlstad. With us, you will develop products that must function in some of the world's most demanding environments, where reliability, sustainability, and smart technical solutions are crucial.

Your role

Develop and improve interfaces between electronics and mechanics
Ensure that the lifespan and requirements of the electronics are met through smart mechanical design
Work with robust solutions to protect against interference, vibrations, and radiation (e.g., EMC protection and insulation)
Contribute to ensuring that our systems withstand extreme environments and harsh stresses

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a background in mechatronics who thrives in the intersection of mechanics and electronics. You are analytical, curious, and have a natural sense for practical, sustainable solutions. You can come from either the mechanical or electronic side - what matters is your interest in the interaction between them.

We believe you have:

Engineering degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electronics, or similar.
Experience in mechanical or electronic design, preferably in an industrial environment.
Understanding of requirements for robustness, EMC, and environmental durability.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
Ability to be approved for security clearance according to applicable regulations.
