At SVT, some of Sweden's largest and most popular services are being developed. We are looking for someone who is studying and wants to work extra on weekdays and weekends, and help elevate SVT Play, the SVT News app, svt.se, and their other services to the next level.

About the position

Academic Work is looking for a Support Communicator for SVT who wants to be part of a small team with big ambitions. You will be the link between users and developers, capturing needs, feedback, and improvement suggestions to collaboratively develop SVT's digital services.

A large part of the dialogue takes place on social media, which requires you to stay updated on digital trends and societal developments in general.

Responsibilities

• Help users get started with SVT's services
• Collect and document users' needs and suggestions for development
• Make users' needs and suggestions visible to internal developers
• Report errors or deficiencies discovered by users to the responsible parties in the organization
• Monitor the technology area to proactively manage challenges and opportunities

We are looking for someone who

We are looking for someone with technical competence, who loves problem-solving and is comfortable troubleshooting IT and support technical issues.

• Is studying a relevant university degree in Media Technology or Computer and Systems Science with 1.5 years left
• Is a technology-interested person who keeps up with digital development
• Is a regular user of social media
• Has the ability to articulate effectively and accurately in writing
• Has some relevant work experience from e.g., communication, IT support, or customer service
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English as both languages are used in the position

It is a plus if you have

• A background in programming and/or web development
• Good knowledge of public service missions and values
• Experience working in a non-profit organization or authority
• Speak more languages than Swedish and English
