IT Security Expert - Software

Main Responsibilities

The role is clearly focused on software and software-related IT security. This position is suitable for you who want to take responsibility, influence technical choices, and contribute deep expertise. The work is carried out in project form where you will work together with some of Sweden's leading IT security experts.

Your tasks will include:

• defining requirements and reviewing cryptosystems, protocols, and IT security components, as well as testing and verifying implementations of these
• evaluating security architectures, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting security tests, reviewing code, and setting requirements for products and product development
• developing our policies, standards, and methods within the IT security area
• conducting continuous and systematic environmental monitoring.

Qualifications

• experience in IT security and/or software development, or another relevant area for the position
• academic education in a relevant field or equivalent competence acquired through work experience
• experience in development in an established system programming language, such as C or C++
• good ability to read and write technical documentation in both Swedish and English.

Desirable Qualifications

• experience in designing, developing, and delivering security-critical systems
• experience in reviewing and identifying deficiencies in the design and implementation of security-critical software
• experience with various development methodologies and producing robust software
• a deep understanding of how operating systems work, such as Linux or Windows
• experience with embedded systems or customizing security features in Linux or Windows
• knowledge of system architecture, domain separation, and concepts such as principle of least privilege
• experience in penetration testing or reverse engineering
• knowledge of signal protection systems
• experience working in the Armed Forces.
