About Us
Göteborg Assessment Team works with activity capacity assessments (AFU) on behalf of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
We also conduct assessments of functional and activity capacity on referral from both primary care and specialist care within the Västra Götaland region, with the aim of providing treating physicians with a qualified basis for their continued work.
The patients who come to us are or risk becoming sick-listed, and many have a complex problem that requires multiple perspectives. Therefore, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, and psychologists contribute their specific expertise. We place great emphasis on close and unpretentious teamwork where everyone's knowledge is crucial for the whole.
In addition to AFU and functional assessments, we also conduct investigations of intellectual disabilities and low theoretical ability on referral from primary care. We also perform work capacity assessments on behalf of occupational health services within the Västra Götaland region.
About the Job
As a physiotherapist with us, you will assess physical function in a cross-professional team. Our working method creates a strong cohesion and team spirit where we support each other's competencies. You will also be part of our physiotherapy group, which consists of colleagues with extensive experience from various fields, providing good opportunities for learning and knowledge exchange in everyday life.
The assignment as a physiotherapist is clearly defined and the role is well outlined. With us, you will complete your assignments the same day you meet a patient, which means that work does not follow you home in the same way. Your workday is also characterized by variation, as you meet new patients every day. We collaboratively develop investigations and referral responses within the team, and documentation is done in the AsynjaVisph journal system.
About You
We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with a few years of clinical experience. We would like you to have experience or a strong interest in a multimodal approach. To be eligible to issue AFU statements, you need to have completed the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's advanced training in insurance medicine. The training is funded by the employer.
As a person, we are looking for someone who is flexible, has good collaboration skills, and sees the individual as a multifaceted whole. You thrive in a team environment, as a large part of the assignment involves making joint assessments with other professionals. Furthermore, we see that you have a strong interest in patients with a complex problem of pain, discomfort, and mental health issues. You are also expected to actively participate in the development work of the organization. We place great importance on personal suitability for the position.
Warm welcome with your application!
