About the Workplace

The rehabilitation unit has existed since the introduction of the rehabilitation care choice and has adjusted its staff according to increased needs.

The rehab clinic is part of Centrumpraktiken, a healthcare center within Praktikertjänst with approximately 15,000 registered patients. In addition to doctor and nurse consultations, there is also a child health clinic, vaccination clinic, and counseling clinic including a rehab coordinator. The healthcare center is located in central Kungälv and is easily accessible by both car and bus. The travel time from central Gothenburg is about 25-30 minutes.

Job Responsibilities

We work within the rehabilitation care choice with patients of all ages. Common tasks include functional assessments, counseling, home visits, preventive measures, as well as tailored supervised training, group activities, and education. We offer, among other things, osteoarthritis school, medical yoga, pain school, and COPD school.

Currently, there are 3 occupational therapists and 6 physiotherapists at the rehab clinic, and we are now looking for an additional physiotherapist. We are currently finalizing the last details for the renovation of our physiotherapy clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist. Experience in primary care with typical patient groups is preferred. It is an advantage if you are a trained supervisor.

We work closely with the healthcare center, which is divided into teams within the organization with daily rounds.

Additional Information

The position is a temporary full-time position (100%), but this can be discussed if there are special needs. The start date is negotiable, earliest February 23. Recruitment is ongoing. The temporary position lasts until August 31, with the possibility of extension.
