We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse/orthodontic assistant for our orthodontic clinic in Alingsås.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

With us, you will meet patients with various care needs and of all ages. Therefore, you will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service. You will work with assistance, independent tasks, sterilization work, and reception duties.

Specialist dental care is represented throughout Västra Götaland primarily at 5 specialized centers that offer specialist dental care in all specialties. The orthodontic specialist clinic in Alingsås is a referral center for general and private dental care as well as health care.

Competence Requirements and Profile

• Trained dental nurse or orthodontic assistant with education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work
• Experience in orthodontics and delegated working methods is an advantage.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 19.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts background checks in case of suspicion and criminal records before employment.
