Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Sylte, Trollhättan, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

We strive for flexibility and delegation.

The position includes, among other things:

• Standard tasks for the dental hygienist, including:
• Being an important part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
• Conducting your own examinations and identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health interventions
• Outreach dental care at nursing homes

Currently, we have a total of 30 employees, including 8 dentists, 2 dental hygienists, 18 dental nurses, 1 health promoter, and 1 administrator.

We are a clinic that is open Monday to Thursday until 19:00 and Fridays until 16:40. This means we work morning and afternoon shifts.

Competence Requirements and Profile

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, and observation at a specialist or general dental clinic.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for around weeks 16-18.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts background checks in case of suspicion and criminal records before employment.
