We are now looking for a dentist who wants to make a difference!

Main assignments and tasks

At Folktandvården Kinna, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and safe during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Folktandvården is continuously developing digitally, and we in Kinna aim to always be at the forefront of this. Therefore, we have, among other things, digital scanning, sensors for X-rays, etc. We also believe it is important to have fun at work.

Your responsibilities include:

• Working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room.
• Conducting both simpler examinations and more advanced treatments and emergency dental care.
• Being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics.

Folktandvården Kinna is a bright and pleasant clinic with 7 treatment rooms. Here, 5 dentists, 3 dental hygienists, and 9 dental nurses work. The clinic is located in the center and has good transportation links to Gothenburg, Borås, and Varberg.

The clinic's opening hours are 07:00-19:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:00-16:00 Friday.

We are a VFU clinic and accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervising/assisting students may also be part of the position.

Competence requirements and profile

• Licensed dentist
• Experience in the profession is an advantage.
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to convey a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. Interviews at the clinic are scheduled for April 10, 13, or 14.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EES country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to complete supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.
