We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude.

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Skara, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service. Folktandvården Skara is characterized by a good atmosphere, community, and helpfulness.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health advice, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in the sterilization area

Loaning/collaboration with another nearby clinic may be relevant.

Competence requirements and profile

• Qualified dental nurse with education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to convey a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the operations by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.
