JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

When you work as an assistant in elderly care, we offer you a meaningful and varied job in a nursing home, in home care, or in short-term care. You primarily work with service tasks and social activities with the goal of providing good and safe care and creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. The work also includes documenting important events according to applicable routines.

You will be part of a competent team consisting of assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Nursing Home:

As an assistant in one of our nursing homes, you work closely with the residents throughout your shift and support them in their daily routines by providing care and support to our users in one of our homes. The individual’s needs dictate the extent of service and care. Among other things, you perform service, care, and support measures and carry out planned activities based on each individual's specific needs. Together you work to create a good environment for the individual.

Home Care:

As an assistant, your role is to contribute support to meet each user’s individual wishes and needs in everyday life. You work with service measures that facilitate everyday life for the individual based on the individual’s implementation plan, with the goal of creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. You travel by bike or car between users.

We actively work with the career path model in elderly care, where there are great development opportunities through further education within the profession.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing
• Have good computer skills
• Can work at least 6 consecutive weeks during the summer, preferably longer
• A B driver's license is a requirement for home care

It is an advantage if you:

• Have previous experience working in care and nursing
