About us

At Operation 3 Mölndal, we conduct specialized day surgery, short-term care, and some emergency services. We operate during daytime from Monday to Friday. The unit has seven operating rooms, a recovery unit, and a care unit for pre- and post-operative care.

We offer a broad operation with opportunities for specialization. We perform surgeries in orthopedics (arthro and trauma), foot surgery, ENT, general surgery, jaw surgery, and we have a collaboration with public dental care. We operate on both adults and children from 10 kg.

Our offer

At Operation 3, we aim for good teamwork with high patient flow and short changeover times. To achieve a good flow, our goal is to have 1.5 teams per room.

You will receive a good and individualized introduction and always have support from experienced colleagues. There are opportunities for specialization, education, and development.

We work Monday to Friday, and you will have all public holidays off as well as some bridge days. We offer fixed schedules with the possibility of individual requests. We have scheduled development time.

Job responsibilities

Standard job responsibilities as an operating room nurse, such as responsibility for sterility and instrumentation during various procedures.

About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room nursing. Previous experience in any of our specialties is an advantage but absolutely not a requirement. We welcome both experienced and newly graduated operating room nurses.

You are good at collaborating and see the team as an important part of the work. We also see that you have a positive attitude and contribute to an open, permissive, and pleasant work environment. You should be creative, structured, have the ability to think outside the box, and can convey suggestions and new ideas. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introduction program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts for the first year of your employment with us. The Clinical Foundation Year includes lectures, nursing supervision, and practical training of your profession at the Simulation Center. In addition, it also includes service in at least two different departments to broaden your competence.

In the event of recruitment of nurses/doctors with foreign licenses/specialist certificates, the relevant position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish licenses/specialist certificates.
