About our job openings
We are now looking for ambulance nurses for SÄS this summer. Care at the hospital is provided around the clock, which means you may work days, evenings, nights, and weekends. The SÄS summer period runs from week 23 to week 35, and to best plan and implement our summer positions, we value that you can work eight consecutive weeks during this period.
As an ambulance nurse, you will receive both theoretical and practical introduction with tests. You will also receive a developing and rewarding summer position for the future.
About us
By summer 2026, we will need ambulance nurses as substitutes for our operations. The ambulance service is part of the emergency care unit (VO) which consists of over 230 employees, including emergency reception and non-emergency patient transport. The ambulance service operates from stations in Borås, Skene, Herrljunga, Svenljunga, Tranemo, and Ulricehamn.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Swedish nursing license and experience in the profession. Good physical fitness, swimming ability, and a B driver's license are required. If you have specialized training in ambulance care, anesthesia, or other emergency care, this is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you can work at least eight consecutive weeks during our summer period, preferably weeks 25-32.
We place great importance on personal suitability and expect you to handle stress well and thrive in changing tempos, finding this stimulating and varied. Our operations are based on a common value foundation, where patient perspective, professionalism, and a holistic view are fundamental. We value a good approach towards patients and their relatives.
To provide our patients with good and safe care, it is important that our employees have good language skills and can communicate well in Swedish.
